Zmiany strukturalne występujące podczas wytwarzania kompozytów GRE3 - SiCP
Przedstawiono wyniki badań strukturalnych stopu GRE3 oraz kompozytów GRE3 – 20%SiCp. Wykazano, że podczas wytwarzania suspensji kompozytowej pomiędzy składnikami układu zachodzi reakcja chemiczna, której produktem jest międzymetaliczny związek Ce3Si2, o charakterystycznej iglastej morfologii. Związek ten występuje zarówno wokół cząstek SiC, tworząc warstwy reaktywne, jak również w stopie osnowy.
The results of the structural investigations of the GRE3 alloy and GRE3 - 20%wt. SiCP composites were presented. The chemical reaction between the components in the analysed system was determined. The Ce3Si2 intermetallic compound with characteristic needles morphology was identified. This new compound has located in form of the interfaces layer around the SiC particles and also in the matrix alloy.
