Ochrona praw człowieka w działalności Straży Granicznej

The aim of the article is to present the system of protection and observance of human rights in the activities of the Border Guard. In the presented content, after a synthetic description of the legal basis and organization of the system of human rights protection in the Border Guard, the issue of training officers in the area of observance of human rights and counteracting inhuman or degrading treatment was taken up. Another important issue is the presentation of the supervision system in the Border Guard relating to the above-mentioned issues. The article also shows the standards of human rights protection influencing the shaping of correct attitudes of Border Guard officers. In the conclusion of the presented research findings, the author presents a synthetic picture of the operation of the system of protection and observance of human rights in the Border Guard.
