Simulation of the Car Main Clutch Work
The article presents the dynamic method of research of friction process in the car clutch equipped in torsional vibration damper. The research stand works in reversed way, the clutch works as a brake. The transitional process, which is the topic of the elaboration, has been described mathematically and computed for several variants of the initial speed, then it was verified experimentally. The compatibility of the theoretical and model courses was given, so the correctness of the description was confirmed. Additionally, the complementary stand was presented, on which the torsional vibration damper characteristics was designated in quasi-static conditions, for model purpose. Ultimately the stand will serve for diagnosing dual-mass flywheels, which are recently becoming more and more popular, they also cause diagnostic problems in the work correctness verification course.
