Nowy etap rozwoju transportu kombinowanego w Polsce?

Artykuł składa się z trzech podstawowych części. W pierwszej części, mającej charakter metodyczny, dokonano usystematyzowania pojęć i definicji w przedmiotowym zakresie oraz przedstawiono autorską ocenę ewolucji pojęć, która ma miejsce w dokumentach WE. Część druga zawiera analizę podstawowych aspektów rynku transportu kombinowanego w Polsce w ostatnich latach. Natomiast w części trzeciej dokonano oceny rynku transportu kombinowanego w Polsce, zawierającą m.in. weryfikację poglądów autora - zwłaszcza w odniesieniu do barier i działań promujących - prezentowanych we wcześniejszych publikacjach. Następnie przedstawiono podstawowe uwarunkowania i przesłanki rozwoju transportu kombinowanego w Polsce.

The article comprises of three parts. The first part is focused on methodological issues concerning the basic concepts and definitions. i.e. multimodal, intermodal and combined transport. Author of article presents his critical opinions on evaluation of those concepts under UE’s documents. Analysis and evaluation of combined transport market in Poland for last years are the main subject of the second part of article. In the third part of article are presented the main barriers, bottle-necks as well as circumstances for combined transport development in Poland. It should be stressed, that the perspective of combined transport development in Poland will depend on the undertakings to be taken both by operators and railway com¬panies as well as by ministry of transport. Because, promotion of combined transport is of key importance for sustainable development and sustainable mobility it is important to implement comprehensive in¬struments under transport policy in Poland, and then it is a main focus of the last part of article.
