W artykule przedstawiono badania eksperymentalne w mechanice konstrukcji jako proces. Proces ten jest integralnie związany w wiedzą teoretyczną. Przebieg procesu przedstawiono na schematach blokowych. Zaprezentowano badania w mechanice konstrukcji oraz badania autorki, tj. belek stalowych wypełnionych betonem lekkim. Badania eksperymentalne stanowią integralną całość mechaniki konstrukcji.
