An Unusual Modernization of Heat Source in a Detached House - a Case Study

The article shows an example of a non-standard modernization of heating and hot water in a singiel - family residential building which was built relatively not long ago (2001). Modernization was to exchange a bifunctional gas boiler to condensing boiler and a battery of solar panels working on two water heaters. The entire system is controlled by programmable logic controller (PLC) and an author's own working algorithm. During the four years of operation the installation brought real savings to the owners which was measured in the amount of fuel gas used.

W artykule opisano przykład nietypowej modernizacji systemu ogrzewania i przygotowania ciepłej wody w stosunkowo niedawno wykonanym jednorodzinnym budynku mieszkalnym (2001 r.). Modernizacja polegała na wymianie dwufunkcyjnego kotła gazowego na kocioł kondensacyjny oraz baterię kolektorów słonecznych pracujących na dwa podgrzewacze wody. Eksploatacja systemu zarządzana jest przez sterownik swobodnie programowalny (PLC) z autorskim algorytmem pracy. Przez cztery lata eksploatacji instalacja przyniosła użytkownikowi oszczędności w ilości zużycia gazu.
