Military vehicle survivability in the contemporary battlefield

The article presents technical solutions that enhance the survivability of military vehicles and crew protection, as well as analysis of the latest solutions and trends in this field. Particular attention is given to threats that emerged during recent military operations, which is why the scope of considerations is limited to wheeled armoured vehicles that were used in these operations. Modern solutions and trends in the construction of this type of armoured vehicles are also analyzed. NATO directives on ballistic protection of vehicles are also referred to, and trends in the modernization of the Polish Armed Forces' armaments are presented in the perspective of recent military operations abroad.
