Competitiveness of metallurgical enterprises after restructuring in domestic steel industry

In the paper market situation of domestic steel industry during restructuring process was characterized. In the analysis the key elements of enterprises competitiveness in number contexts were presented (analysis was realized in the period 1990÷2010). Moreover the capital changes in the steel industry and their influence on the competitiveness of metallurgical enterprises were presented too. In the paper two kinds of restructuring were described: repair and development.

W artykule przedstawiono sytuację rynkową krajowego sektora hutniczego po przeprowadzonych działaniach restrukturyzacyjnych. Analizą objęto kluczowe aspekty konkurencyjności przedsiębiorstw, przedstawiając ich ujęcie liczbowe w okresie 1990÷2010. Scharakteryzowano przemiany własnościowe dokonujące się w sektorze hutniczym w Polsce, podkreślając znaczenie restrukturyzacji naprawczej i rozwojowej w dążeniu do osiągnięcia przewagi konkurencyjnej.
