Historyczne aspekty użycia statków powietrznych do zwalczania min morskich

The article presents factors that have been influencing creating air systems of counteracting marine mines and transformations that took place from the first use of flying vehicles to conduct this task during World War I until now. In the system evolution, there have been differentiated two periods: using aerostats and non-convertaplanes (until the turn of the 40s and 50s) and introducing helicopters into the navy. In the summary, there is a review of this type modern systems and their tactical and technical characteristics.
