Logistics in e-commerce

Logistics systems in e-commerce create extensive distributive- storage network optimizing and facilitating supplies of ordered goods. In the present paper the authors attempted at presenting logistics in e-commerce. The first part of the article is an analysis of development of Polish e-commerce as compared to other European countries, then there have been presented various forms of logistics services, specifics and meaning of logistics and information technologies in e-business.

Systemy logistyczne w e-handlu tworzą rozbudowaną sieć dystrybucyjno-magazynową optymalizującą usprawniającą dostawy zamawianych towarów. W artykule autorzy podjęli próbę przedstawienia znaczenia logistyki w e-handlu. W pierwszej części artykułu omówiono rozwój polskiego e-handlu na tle innych krajów europejskich, następnie przedstawiono różne formy usług logistycznych, specyfikę oraz znaczenie logistyki i technologii informacyjnych w e-biznesie.
