The failure of partition walls resulted from excessive deflection of the prestressed ribbed floor slab

The paper discusses issues related to the use of ribbed floor systems in multi-family buildings consisting of precast prestressed beams and floor blocks. Material and geometric parameters of the slab are presented. Examples of selected damages to partition walls resulting from underestimated deflection of the slabs are presented. Based on the analysis of crack patterns in partition walls the adopted assumptions for the calculations are criticized.

W artykule przedstawiono problemy związane z użytkowaniem w budynkach wielorodzinnych systemu stropów gęstożebrowych, składających się z prefabrykowanych sprężonych belek strunobetonowych oraz żwirobetonowych pustaków stropowych. Przedstawiono parametry materiałowe i geometryczne stropu. Zaprezentowano przykłady wybranych uszkodzeń ścian działowych będących wynikiem niedoszacowania ugięcia stropów. Na podstawie analizy zarysowań ścian działowych poddano krytyce przyjęte założenia obliczeniowe.
