Charakterystyka wybranych właściwości barierowych dzianin po aplikacji specjalnych środków chemicznych w procesie wykończenia

The publication presents the usable properties of knitting materials intended for selected groups of protective articles. Functional uses of knitted fabrics were shaped by the type of raw materials and weaves and the way of finishing. The object of the study was the knitwear made from metararamid and antistatic yarns or yarns from modified cellulose fibres. The finishing process of the knitted fabric was carried out using a two-way method of impregnation using two different chemically-antimicrobial agents and a softening agent. Materials after special and classical finishes were subjected to assessment in terms of protective properties against hot thermal factors and static electricity, antibacterial features and selected biophysical properties.
