The article presents factors that determine the process of fighting small submarine objects in seas. A rapid development of technology that has taken place recently, using very sensitive receivers (hydrophones), very complicated methods of signal analysis caused a revolution in fighting small submarine objects system. This article is an attempt to present tendencies and main directions development of systems to search for these objects.
