45th anniversary of the Faculty of Drilling, Oil and Gas, AGH University of Science and Technology, Kraków (1967-2012)

Anniversaries are a perfect starting point for summaries and reflections. This year we celebrate the 45th anniversary of autonomous activity of the Faculty of Drilling, Oil and Gas AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków. On 12 July 1967 the Ministry of Education and Higher Education officially created the Faculty of Drilling and Petroleum and the Departament of Mathematics III.

Okrągłe rocznice skłaniają do podsumowań i refleksji. Właśnie w tym roku mija 45 rocznica samodzielnego funkcjonowania Wydziału Wiertniczo-Naftowego na Akademii Górniczo-Hutniczej im. Stanisława Staszica w Krakowie. Dnia 12.07.1967 roku Ministerstwo Oświaty i Szkolnictwa Wyższego powołało Wydział Wiertniczo-Naftowy, składający się z Instytutu Wiertniczo-Naftowego oraz Katedry Matematyki III.
