Na podstawie dostępnej literatury technicznej przedstawiono rozwój chińskiego górnictwa węglowego. W pierwszej części artykułu podano ogólne informacje o Chińskiej Republice Ludowej (Chinach) i przemyśle węglowym tego kraju. Oprócz ogólnych informacji przedstawiono krótką informację na temat struktury organizacyjnej chińskiego górnictwa węglowego.

Basing himself on the available technical literature the author has presented the development of the Chinese coal mining. The first part of the paper contains general information relating to the People's Republic of China and to the coal mining industry of this country. A brief description of organizational structure of the Chinese coal mining has been also presented.
