Technika plazmowa w inżynierii materiałowej metali

Artykuł ma charakter przeglądowy i przedstawia aplikacyjne aspekty zastosowania plazmy i urządzeń plazmowych we współczesnej inżynierii materiałowej metali. W artykule opisano podstawowe właściwości plazmy, rodzaje urządzeń stosowanych w technice plazmowej oraz przykłady zastosowań tej techniki, głównie w metalurgii proszków i w inżynierii powierzchni. Uwzględniono doświadczenia własne, wynikające z rozwijania techniki plazmowej w Instytucie Metali Nieżelaznych.

The paper outlines the application aspects of using plasma and relevant plasma installations in contemporary materials engineering of metals. The basic plasma properties, types of the equipment used in plasma technique and the examples of application of his technique mainly in powder metallurgy and in surface engineering of metals, are presented. Our own experiences resulting from the development of plasma technique at the Institute of Non-Ferrous Metals have been described.
