An application and getting finance support for common EU and CIS international projects in the area of energy

Implementation of eurostrategic projects related with use in European Union (EU) energy resources on the terrain of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) meets many obstacles. However, the main problem seems to be lack of clear definition of common interests for all participants in a project. Therefore, we can consider as the first thing identification of some rules of understanding unquestioned for any country. Their obeying makes possible not only success in common EU and CIS project but also marks out the road of cooperation in energy domain. The paper presents a path for preparing an application and getting success in the 6th call of 7th Framework Programme. Especially, it discusses how to choose a topic for a gas project inside the subprogram Cooperation as well as talks over some problems of financial support.
