Ceny oleju napędowego i energii elektrycznej w wybranych krajach

W 2008 r. średnia roczna cena oleju napędowego w dolarach amerykańskich (USD) była w Polsce nieco niższa niż w krajach Europy Zachodniej oraz w Czechach, na Słowacji i Węgrzech, ale wyższa niż w Korei Południowej i Japonii oraz znacznie wyższa niż w USA. Wzrost cen ropy naftowej spowodował, że rosły też ceny oleju napędowego. Wzrost ten od 2000 r. (w USD) najsilniej zaznaczył się w Polsce (o 197,8%), a najmniej w Japonii (o 80,2%). Wzrost ceny oleju napędowego w PLN w Polsce w latach 2000-2008 wyniósł 73,2%. Tak duża różnica wynika ze spadku kursu dolara w tym okresie. W porównaniu z krajami Europy Zachodniej także cena energii elektrycznej była w Polsce na ogół niższa, lecz już w 2008 r. o 14,2% wyższa niż we Francji. Niższe niż w Polsce były ceny energii elektrycznej w Korei Południowej, USA i Czechach. W Czechach ina Słowacji odnotowano w latach 2000-2008 wzrost cen w USD aż o 340%, natomiast w Japonii cena energii elektrycznej w 2008 r. była o 3,3% niższa niż w 2000 r. W Polsce energia elektryczna w USD podrożała w tym czasie o 196,9%, natomiast wzrost ceny energii elektrycznej w PLN wyniósł 71,8%. Ceny w dolarach mają zastosowanie do porównań cen w różnych krajach, natomiast analizy zmian cen w czasie powinny być prowadzone w walutach krajowych.

In 2008 the average annual price (in USD) of diesel oil in Poland was some-what lower than in the West European countries, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary, while it was higher than in the South Korea and Japan, and much higher than in the USA. An increase in crude oil prices resulted in rising diesel oil prices, too. Since 2000 such an increase (in USD) was strongest marked in Poland (by 197.8%), whereas it was the lowest (by 80.2%) in Japan. The price of diesel oil in Poland (in PLN) rose within the years 2000-2008 by 73.2%. Such a big difference was connected with dropped exchange rate of the USD in this period. In comparison to the West European countries, also the price of electric energy in Poland was generally lower, but just in 2008 by 14.2% higher than in France. Lower than in Poland were the prices of electric energy in the South Korea, USA and Czech Republic. Within the years 2000-2008, in Czech Republic and Slovakia the prices (in USD) increased as far as by 340%, while in Japan the price of electricity in 2008 was by 3.3% lower than in year 2000. Electric energy in Poland at that time rose in price (USD) by 196.9%, whereas the price increase of electric energy in PLN amounted to 71.8%. The levels of prices in USD are applicable to price comparisons among different countries, whereas the analyses of price changes in time should be based on the local currencies.
