Post-critical states in compressed homogeneous plates with stiffened outer layers (sandwich plates)

An analysis of post-critical states in compressed homogeneous thin plates stiffened with two outer layers was carried out. The layers are made of polyurethane foam and their displacement is described by the hyperbolic hypothesis. All the usual assumptions applied in the theory of elasticity of thin plates are valid with respect to homogeneous plates. The energy method and non-linear geometrical theory were applied in the analysis.

Przeprowadzono analizę stanów postkrytycznych w sprasowanych cienkich płytach, które usztywniają dwie zewnętrzne warstwy. Warstwy te wykonano z pianki poliuretanowej, a ich przemieszczenie opisano za pomocą hipotezy hiperbolicznej. Wszystkie założenia stosowane zazwyczaj w teorii sprężystości cienkich płyt są odpowiednie dla płyt homogenicznych. W analizie wykorzystano metodę energii i nieliniową teorię geometryczną.
