Elastoplastic model of soft soil
In this paper, we present the analysis of strain modulus and the Poisson coefficient in soils with elastoplastic properties.This analysis was carried out using triaxial apparatus and assuming that material constants are separate for elastic and plastic phases. It was suggested that loading and unloading (to zero) of a soil sample with elastoplastic properties allowed us to calculate elementary plastic and elastic strains and plastic modulus of strain. Knowing the modulus of strain we may estimate the values of the Poisson coefficient which describe elastic and plastic parts of strains.
