Paper discussed the main components of technical infrastructure on rural areas such as the energy and fuels (renewable energy sources inclusive), the network of agricultural and local public roads, land reclamation structures, water supply and waste management, building materials and structures, designs of livestock and other farm buildings as well as the farm dwelling houses. Basic directions for research and development works were pointed out as well as some limitations and development trends were indicated.
