Pozyskiwanie odpadów tworzyw sztucznych do dalszego przerobu

Dokonano analizy źródeł pozyskiwania odpadów tworzyw sztucznych z rejonu pięciu województw południowej Polski. Oceniono szacunkowo ilości odpadów oraz strukturę tworzyw sztucznych, które występują w odpadach komunalnych, niezagospodarowanych odpadach poprodukcyjnych oraz z recyclingu samochodów.

Sources of waste plastics in five provinces in southern Poland were estimated with regard to the amounts and types of plastic available in raw communal refuse, industrial wastes and automobile scrap yards. In Poland more than 1500 kg/head of solid wastes is produced annually and 99,5% of that is dumped. In France, the U.K. and Germany the amount rarely exceeds 1000kg/head. In Poland the recovery ratio of plastic containers etc. is as low as 17%. Reuse of waste plastics either by recycling of the materials or as the source of energy must be based on an efficient system for collection of waste materials similar to that existing in Germany.
