Mosty Belgradu - czterdzieści lat później

Autor opisuje podróż po rzekach Dunaju i Sawy. Zachwyca się krajobrazem i zabytkami z okresu Cesarstwa Rzymskiego. Szczególnie zainteresował go przełom Dunaju - wykuty w skałach rzymski trakt Tyberiusza przebudowany za czasów Trajana oraz spiętrzenie wód Dunaju w XX wieku. Wspomina historię Jugosławii i jej podobieństwo do historii Polski. Najważniejsze są jednak mosty budowane na przez rzekę Sawę spławną i kapryśną. Dwa mosty kolejowe i cztery mosty drogowe, każdy z nich ma inną konstrukcję i inną historię. Autor podziwia mosty ale również ma wątpliwości, co do niektórych rozwiązań.

The author describes the trip along Danube and Sawa rivers. He admires landscape and monuments from the time of Roman Empire. In particular, he is interested in the ravine of the river - made in rocks Tyberius route, reconstructed in Traian time, and dammed up in XX-th centaury. He remembers history of Yugoslavia similar to Polish history. However, the bridges over navigable and unstable Sawa River are the most important. Among six bridges two bridges for railway and four bridge for roads. Each of them has different structure and different history. The author admire bridges but he also expresses doubts against certain solutions.
