Tezaurusy obcojęzyczne z zakresu informacji naukowej

Celem pracy było stwierdzenie przydatności tezaurusów obcojęzycznych przy opracowaniu "Polsko-angielskiego tezaurusa informacji naukowej"(PATIN). Przeanalizowano 6 tezaurusów obcojęzycznych z zakresu informacji naukowej: C.K. Schulz "Information science thesaurus", "Thesaurus Bureau Marcel Van Dijk", "Informacionno-poiskovyj tezaurus po informatike", "Thesaurus of information technology terms", "The librariens thesaurus", "Asis thesaurus of information science and librarianship". Na podstawie otrzymanych wyników określono wielkość i zakres tematyczny przyszłego tezurusa. Stwierdzono również przydatność tezaurusów: "Informacionno-poiskovyj tezaurus po informatike", "Thesaurus of information technology terms", The librarians thesaurus", "ASIS thesaurus of information science and librarianship" przy gromadzeniu słownictwa i opracowaniu części systematycznej i relacji między jednostkami leksykalnymi tezaurusa.

The aim of this study was to find out the usefulness of the foreign language thesauri (i.e. thesauri elaborated in languages other than Polish) when elaborating the "Polish - English Thesaurus of Information Science" (PATIN). The following six thesauri were analysed: C.K. Schulz "Information science thesaurus", "Thesaurus Bureau Marcel Van Dijk", "Informacionno-poiskovyj tezaurus po informatike", "Thesaurus of information technology terms", "The librarians thesaurus", "Asis thesaurus of information science and librarianship". On the ground of this analysis the size and thematic domain of the PATIN were determined. Moreover the usefulness of the following thesauri: "Informacionno-poiskovyj tezaurus po informatike", "Thesaurus of information technology terms", "The librarians thesaurus", "ASIS thesaurus of information science and librarianship" was found out when gathering the vocabulary of the PATIN, elaborating its systematic part and establishing between its lexical units.
