The article presents results of the author's research done in the 2004-2005 period. The research focused on evaluation of the standardised management systems applied in Polish organisations. It covered 148 organisations. The presented materials describe numerous aspects of operating standardised management systems - for instance, their strengths and weaknesses are identified, and the degree of staff acceptance of those systems is analysed.
