Wspomaganie metody FMEA w przedsiębiorstwie produkcyjnym
A failure modes and effects analysis (FMEA), is a procedure in operations management for analysis of potential failure modes within a system for classification by severity or determination of the effect of failures on the system. It is widely used in manufacturing industries in various phases of the product life cycle and is now increasingly finding use in the service industry. Failure modes are any errors or defects in a process, design, or item, especially those that affect the customer, and can be potential or actual. Effects analysis refers to studying the consequences of those failures. In presented paper there is an example of Excel's use to support an FMEA method in an organization. Using of this tool allows for more efficient and formalized work. The advantage of the analysis is the ease and transparency of the work. Also through the use of tools an organization can archive and manage knowledge on specific areas and problems Another very important advantage that is mentioned in the publication, is low cost as compared with professional applications.
