Management by objectives MBO is a key element of every management system and is a main tool of its improvement. In article some MBO elements are presented in relation to quality and food safety objectives which are a developement of a quality and food safety policy. The paper presents some theoretical fundamentals to establishing of the objectives as well as shows a few practical exaples of objectives developing in quality and food safety management systems.
