Ocena wpływu pomiaru głębokości napełnienia na dokładność wyznaczanego natężenia przepływu przez koryta zwężkowe

A comparison of empirical data published by one of Palmer-Bowlus flume producers, with results of computations, done according to the Bernoulli equation, was presented. Acceptable differences were obtained, which suggests that this old simple method of computations still may be used in many technical applications, for which low accuracy is required. A discussion of an impact of an error of flow dept measurement on the accuracy of flow-rate prediction was presented.
