Jednym z najistotniejszych etapów analizy obrazu jest jego segmentacja. W referacie przedstawiono wybrane algorytmy wstępnego przetwarzania obrazu w układzie wizyjnej analizy składu ziarnowego. Algorytmy te umożliwiają redukcję niejednorodności obrazu powierzchni ziaren, ułatwiając przez to detekcję ich krawędzi i usprawniając przebieg procesu segmentacji.

One of the most significant stages of the image analysis is a segmentation of the picture. The selected algorithms of the image preprocessing in the picture size analysis system have been presented in the paper. These algorithms allow the image heterogeneity of grains to be reduced, facilitating thereby the detection of their edges and improving a segmentation process.
