TUF - nowy napełniacz polimerów termoplastycznych

Tuf jest naturalnym, twardym napełniaczem o porowatej strukturze. Pozwala on na zwiększenie adhezji i umożliwia lepszy rozkład cząsteczek w matrycy polimerowej. Niska cena wytworzenia proszku tuf może być powodem zastosowania go jako napełniacza w polimerach takich jak poliamid i poliolefiny. Badania mechaniczne kompozytów na bazie Pa6 oraz POM300 z napełniaczem tuf są obiecujące.

Tuff is the natural hard filler with porous surface, it permits increasing adhesions and possibility to better locate the single particles in polymer matrix. The low price of making tuff powder could cause using this filler to modification such polymers as polyamide and polyolefines in the future. First results of investigations on mechanical properties of composite based on PA6 and POM300 with mineral tuff are very promising.
