Przedstawiono informacje na temat projektu badawczo-rozwojowego z zakresu zgazowania węgla realizowanego w ramach Strategicznego Programu Badań Naukowych i prac rozwojowych "Zaawansowane technologie pozyskiwania energii". The article provides information on the subject of research and development project of coal gasification being implemented under the Strategic Programme for Research and Development Works "Advanced power generation technologies". It provides the basic objectives of the project and expected results, with special emphasis on problems of underground coal gasification. It discussed the work program for the pilot installation of underground gasification, as well as modeling of the operation of a geo-reactor.
