Kofeina w rzekach Krakowa

Kofeina jest składnikiem ścieków powstających w gospodarstwach domowych. Dlatego gdy są one odprowadzane do wód powierzchniowych bez oczyszczenia, trafia tam wraz z nimi. Artykuł ma na celu przedstawienie wyników oznaczania zawartości kofeiny w rzekach płynących na terenie miasta Krakowa. Po uwzględnieniu natężeń przepływu wód oszacowano ładunek niesionej kofeiny.

Caffeine is a component of wastewater from households. Therefore, discharging of raw sewage effluents to the surface waters causes the presence of caffeine in the environment. This paper presents the results of determination of caffeine in the rivers flowing through the Cracow city area. On the basis of these investigations together with the values of flow rates of these rivers, the load of caffeine was estimated.
