The paper prestents the impact of turbo-supercharging on the engine's characteristics. Due to the fact that traditional turbo-supercharging with one turbo supercharger exercises an adverse impact on the course of filling within the range of low rotational speeds on external engine characteristics and in case of load it is necessary to use a supercharging control system. Those systems, in relation to injection system dosage correction, make it possible to increase the general efficiency of an engine and adjust the engine characteristics to the expected load distribution, leading to the more effective use of its construction. The use of a range supercharging system is one of the methods that make it possible to shape the supercharging characteristics. Its operation consists of the use of one or more turbo-superchargers in parallel connection and starting them successively as the engine's demand on air increases.
