Research on the radial wheel wear in the cylindrical traverse grinding process.
Cylindrical traverse grinding is the process widely spread, being at the same time less researched than plunge grinding. The profile of the wheel wear in traverse grinding is a series of steps together with the quantity of feeds per revolution of the workpiece. Based on the theoretical analysis and empirical research this research paper presents the possibility of calculating the wheel wear at its individual steps.
Szlifowanie osiowe zewnętrznych powierzchni walcowych jest procesem szeroko rozpowszechnionym, a jednocześnie znacznie mniej rozpoznanym niż szlifowanie promieniowe. Profil zużycia ściernicy w procesie szlifowania osiowego ma postać szeregu stopni o wielkości posuwu na obrót przedmiotu. Na podstawie analizy teoretycznej i badań doświadczalnych w pracy przedstawiono możliwość obliczania wielkości zużycia na poszczególnych stopniach.
