Nickel and titanium alloys in aircraft turbine engines.

This paper presents an analysis of tendencies in development of aircraft engines in terms of application of new nickel and cobalt-base alloys. The criteria of selection of materials, testing methodology and examples of new nickel and titanium alloys are discussed here.

W pracy przedstawiono analizę rozwoju silników lotniczych i rozważono tendencje tego rozwoju w aspekcie zastosowania nowych stopów na osnowie niklu i kobaltu. Omówiono kryteria doboru materiałów, metodykę badań oraz przykłady modernizacji nowych stopów niklu i tytanu.
