A historical outline of the origin and activity of BIPROMET on the market of the project- and engineering-services. The design- and construction-base, strong and experienced, became the basis of the complex investment-performances of the Office. The output of the Office for the 40 years' period before and 10 years period after privatization of the firm is presented. The strategic assumptions of the Office are outlined.
