W pracy przeanalizowano wpływ parametrów geometrycznych i tribologicznych na współpracę cierną stożkowego krążnika z taśmą przenośnika. Uzyskane zależności mogą być wykorzystane w pracach dotyczących projektowania i eksploatacji przenośników taśmowych.
The paper presents some results of investigations on possibilities of alignment of belt conveyors with utilization of conic idler. Nowadays the particular attention is focused on the problem of providing of belt alignment run at the minimum connected with it supplementary motion resistances and conveyor drive power in the aim to decrease the costs of belt conveyor transport (energy consumption), improvement of their reliability and durability. An analysis of conveyor frictional co-operation with a belt has been carried out as the result obtaining the dependences on friction force moment which was aligning the belt, supplementary resistance of its motion and slide velocity against idler jacket. These dependences will allow to assess an influence of geometrical and tribology (materials) parameters of friction pair i.e. idler and belt on possibilities of alignment of the pair and can be usable for designing supports with this kind of idlers. The results of experimental verification of operation of these aligning supports with conic idlers will decide of possibilities of their implementation into designing and operational practice of belt conveyors.
