Doskonalenie procesu azotowania jonowego

Omówiono niektóre wyniki badań wpływu ścieralności i chropowatości oraz zmian proporcji przepływów azotu i wodoru na efekt procesu azotowania wybranych stali. Podano też dwa przykłady zastosowania azotowania jonowego dla zwiększenia trwałości narzędzi ze stali WCL do kucia matrycowego na gorąco.

Some results of testing the influence of ion nitriding of chosen steels on their abrasion resistance and surface roughness after short chracteristics of the work-stand equipped with JONIMP 900/500 plant are given. The effect of nitrogen to hydrogen ratio changing on ion nitriging results is also shortly described. In the last part of the paper two examples of hot forging dies made of WCL steel the life of which has been considerably increased due to ion nitriding are mentioned.
