Węglowe ogniwo paliwowe - wysokosprawne źródło czystej energii elektrycznej

W pracy przedstawiono wyniki wstępnych badań warunków pracy prototypowego ogniwa paliwowego zasilanego biocarbonem uzyskanym w wyniku termicznej waloryzacji biomasy. Badaniu poddano biocarbon o różnym stopniu uwęglenia oraz granulacji. W oparciu o uzyskane w trakcie badań charakterystyki prądowo-napięciowe można stwierdzić, że pracujące ogniwo generuje stabilne napięcie >1V, przy natężeniu prądu płynącego w obwodzie około 30mA.

The preliminary results of the operation of a prototype biocarbon fuel cell are presented in this paper. The biocarbon for the fuel cell is produced from biomass via its autothermal upgrading process. The effect of two biocarbon parameters, i.e. its carbon content and granulation are discussed. It is demonstrated that the fuel cell can be operated in a steady-state generating voltage of over 1V and the electric current of roughly 30mA.
