In the methodology of the scholar's scientific work both general and detailed elements can be distinguished. This study is devoted to the first group of elements such as science, scientific problems, conditions of carrying out scientific work, its process and results and the theories in the scholar's scientific work. The above mentioned elements have been characterised on the basis of cited literature both methodological and scientific.
