Obecnie kampus uczelni wyższej traktowany jest jako globalny ośrodek wytwarzania i wymiany wiedzy. W artykule wskazano kierunek przemian środowisk akademickich, który dotyczyć ma nie tylko samego procesu informatyzacji na szczeblu organizacyjno-informacyjny m, lecz także sposobu traktowania struktury architektonicznej kampusu z wyodrębnieniem węzłów funkcjonalnych. Wyraża się to poprzez udział nowych technologii w kształtowaniu formy oraz generowaniu nowych funkcji, dzięki aplikowaniu inteligencji w przestrzeń uniwersytecką. Oznacza to wykorzystanie systemów wspomagających funkcjonowanie budynku, aż po animowanie interakcji użytkownika z wykreowaną przestrzenią w celu zwiększenia jej atrakcyjności. Podkreślono, iż właśnie integracja świata wirtualnego z rzeczywistym w przestrzeni kampusu stanowi obecnie kierunek rozwoju tzw. e-uczelni. Zasygnalizowano rozwiązania, które świadczą o nowoczesności i stanowić mogą inspirację dla przestrzennego rozwoju e-uczelni.
Nowadays, a university campus is a centre of production and exchange of knowledge. The article shows a way of rearranging campus space on many levels. Not only does it deal with the process of informatisation, but also takes into consideration the architectural structure of campus space, which integrates many functional nodes. Fusion of these two aspects is possible due to the development of new technologies, which apply intelligence into the university's space. In practice, it means the use of informatics systems responsible for optimalisation of a building's life so as to general new functions of the space. Intelligent space lets its user interact with the architectural environment, which leads to higher levels of attractiveness of the space. The article stresses the importance of integration of the virtual world with the real one, in the process of developing an e-university. Solutions presented in the article are examples of contemporary architecture, and could be the inspiration for revitalization of campus space.
