Omówiono podstawowe kierunki zagospodarowania popiołów i żużli, do jakich należą: górnictwo, produkcja materiałów budowlanych, cementu, budowa dróg, ceramika, makroniwelacje terenu. Wykorzystanie odpadów osiągnęło poziom 65% ich bieżącego wypadu, a produktów odsiarczania spalin 53%.

Utilisation of furnace wastes achieves level of 65% of present amount in power stations and 58% of flue gas de-sulphurisation products.
