The implantable cardiac rhythm device at electromagnetic field - the problem of an interaction

The paper presents problems of electromagnetic interference of implantable cardioverter defibrillators and cardiac pacemakers exposed to electromagnetic field. Author presents the literature review of problem exposure people with implanted ICD) to electromagnetic field generated by mobile phones, medical equipment (diagnostic and therapeutic) and industrial equipment. It was indicated trends in cardiac rhythm devices malfunction rates.

Praca prezentuje probematykę interferencji elektromagnetcznych w obszarze urządzeń podtrzymujących rytm pracy serca (wszczepialnych kardiowerterów-defibrylatorów i stymulatorów serca) eksponowanych na sztucznie generowane pole elektromagnetyczne. Zaprezentowano przegląd wyników badań i doniesień w literaturze fachowej. Ponadto w pracy zasygnalizowano problem tendencji zaburzeń w pracy urządzeń podtrzymujących rytm pracy serca.
