The dynamic mapping of luminance in analytical model of light source

The basic analysis of reflectors simplifies the source of the light to the point model. Modelling with regard of the shape and size of the light source (similar to real, described by the cuboids, cylinders, etc.- with the constant luminance on the whole surface) was the progress. Regard of the complexity the shapes of light sources with the inconstant luminance on surface is the natural step forward. In this paper the issues connected with the mathematical modelling of the real light sources, basing on data from the matrix measurer of the luminance will be introduced.

Podstawowa analiza opraw oświetleniowych upraszcza źródło światła do modelu punktowego. Pewnym postępem jest modelowanie z uwzględnieniem kształtu i gabarytów źródła, możliwie zbliżonych do rzeczywistych (przybliżenie za pomocą brył tj. prostopadłościan, walec, itp.) ze stałym rozkładem luminancji. Naturalnym krokiem naprzód jest próba uwzględnienia całej złożoności kształtów źródeł ze zmiennym rozkładem luminancji na ich powierzchni. W artykule przedstawione zostaną zagadnienia związane z modelowaniem matematycznym rzeczywistych źródeł światła na podstawie danych (obrazów) uzyskanych z matrycowego miernika luminancji.
