Comparison of the measuring techniques used in UV-VIS spectrometers

There are a few methods of measure spectral power parameters of UV-VIS radiation. In the classical scanning method are used the stationary, precise spectrometers. The pseudo-parallel method is applied in the minispectrometers. They are less precise than stationary spectrometers but they are relatively cheap. The multichannel measured head is used in the parallel method. It has better frequency characteristics than above scanning method and pseudo-parallel method.

Współcześnie stosuje się kilka metod pomiarowych parametrów energetycznych promieniowania UV-VIS. Precyzyjne, stacjonarne spektroradiometry stosowane są w klasycznej metodzie skanującej. Metoda pseudo-równoległa implementowana jest w minispektrometrach, które są mniej dokładne oraz tańsze niż spektroradiometry stacjonarne. Wielokanałowa głowica pomiarowa jest wykorzystywana w metodzie równoległej, posiadającej korzystniejsze charakterystyki częstotliwościowe niż powyższe metody.
