The effect of structural and operational parameters on running characteristics of a solar car

Analysis of power distribution in a solar car was carried out, inclusive of the power demand related to the need of overcoming rolling and aerodynamic resistance with respect to its structural and operational parameters and the possibility of obtaining the power of photovoltaic conversion aided by an accumulator battery. The consideration takes into account the insolation, the fact whether the vehicle is moving or remains immobile, and the efficiency of particular parts of the drive.

Przeprowadzono analizę rozdziału mocy w samochodzie słonecznym, w tym zapotrzebowania na moc uwarunkowanego koniecznością pokonania przez pojazd oporów: toczenia i aerodynamicznego, w funkcji jego parametrów konstrukcyjnych i eksploatacyjnych jak i możliwości pozyskania energii z konwersji fotowoltaicznej i - uzupełniającej z akumulatora. W rozważaniach uwzględniono wpływ nasłonecznienia, to, czy pojazd znajduje się w ruchu, czy podczas postoju, a także sprawność poszczególnych elementów napędu.
