Self-modulation effects in injection heterolasers with passive resonator Q-switching

The structure of GaAlAs laser with saturating absorber in resonator and a method of research the light generation dynamics with the use of optical stroboscopic oscilloscope ???-1 which has a time resolution of ~30 picosecond is described. The dependence of the radiation peaks succession frequency on the parameters of pumping current impulses and value of direct bias current in injection hetero-lasers with saturating absorber in resonator.

W artykule przedstawiono strukturę lasera GaAlAs z absorberem w rezonatorze. Opisano metodę badania dynamiki generacji światła przy wykorzystaniu optycznego oscyloskopu stroboskopowego OCO-1 o rozdzielczości ok. 30 pikosekund. Przedstawiono zależność częstotliwości pików radiacyjnych od parametrów impulsów prądu pompującego i wartości prądu wstrzykiwanego do struktury hetero-lasera.
