Studies on the utilisation of chrome waste for the production of sodium chromate(VI)

The results of the study on the utilisation of chrome wastes such as: chrome sludge from the running production, material from old chrome waste dumps and chrome tannery waste, in the production process of sodium chromate (VI), carried out within the scope ~s determined by the variation range of the selected process parameters are presented. The method for dry emichment of wastes coming from old chrome waste dumps, which enables the stream of recirculated chromium-enriched waste to be obtained is also presented. The results of umeacted chrome ore recovery, capable of being suited for industrial purposes, were obtained when the enriched, 63- 200 Jlm grain size stream was separated, with the enrichment ratio of 1.27 and separation ratio of 0.32.
