MoO3/Al2O3 catalytic systems prepared by conventional impregnation and equilibrium adsorption: activity in propene metathesis
The MoO3/Al(2)0(3) catalytic systems were studied. The catalysts were prepared via the conventional impregnation and the equilibrium adsorption techniques. The influence of the applied impregnation method and the impregnation conditions on the catalytic activity in propene metathesis at T = 303 K was investigated. It was shown that the activity of the catalysts depends not only on the molybdenum loading but also on the applied method of the catalysts preparation. In the case of the conventional impregnation technique, the metathesis activity of the catalysts with the same molybdenum loading was strongly affected by the initial pH of the impregnation slurry.
