Kompleksowy projekt nowego lewego wału przeciwpowodziowego Odry w rejonie miejscowości Wężyska-Chlebowo

The paper discusses the plan of building the new left side embankment of the Oder in the province Lubuskie. The embankment 5,550 km long is to replace the existing one which has been damaged during the flood in July, 1957. It is situated on the area of the administration district Krosno Odrzańskie, in the commune Maszewo, in the region of the towns Wężysko and Chlebowo. In case of a flood the damaged section of embankment could be the cause of inundation of several localities.
